Every time I fill up my car with gas I make sure the amount of money I pay is a mirroring number. For example, “$25.52”. It’s silly I know, but as a numbers guy, I find it satisfying. It’s much more difficult to get numbers to mirror each other grocery shopping. The other day was my lucky day! I had been out of town all week for work and I went to the grocery store to get a few items and I made sure to buy something nice for my wife. My total came to $44.44. Isn’t that awesome?!? I believe the universe rewarded me for doing something nice.
I enjoy traveling for work and experiencing different places, most recently the warmer weather and sunshine in LA. However, my favorite part of traveling for work is coming home to my wife. Each time I travel I return home with a greater appreciation for my wife.
A few attributes of my wife that I admire (and want to incorporate more in my life):
- Happy – she is always smiling
- Energetic – she loves adventures
- Laughs often – she loves to laugh and I love it when she laughs to the point she’s crying
- Determination – she works hard to accomplish her goals and she has an unbelievable competitive side that only I get to see
- Helpful – she seeks to help others
